You've heard it over and over ... keep your child REAR FACING as long as possible. But what does that mean?
When forward facing, check the weight limit of the 5-point harness. And check those shoulder straps! For a child riding forward, make sure the shoulder straps are level with or raised higher than your child's shoulders. Oh, and don't forget to use the top tether strap!
California law requires EVERYONE to wear their seatbelt PROPERLY. Most children will need to ride in a booster seat until ages 10-12 years!
